ISAIAH 44:6-48:11

• 44:⁶Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God
• 45:¹¹Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Would you question Me about things to come concerning My children, and concerning the work of My hands [would you] command Me?
• 48:¹⁰Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried and chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
