day 281 - Bible in a year

MATTHEW 13:10-23, LUKE 8:9-18, MARK 4:21-29, MATTHEW 13:24-30, MARK 4:30-34, MATTHEW 13:31-52, MARK 4:35-41, MATTHEW 8:23-27. LUKE 8:22-25

  • matt 4:24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [c][of thought and study] you give [to [d]the truth you hear] will be the measure [e][of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
  • matt 13:28 He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? 29 But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it. 30 Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.
  • luke 8:25 And He said to them, [Why are you so fearful?] Where is your faith (your trust, your confidence in Me—in My veracity and My integrity)? And they were seized with alarm andprofound and reverent dread, and they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that He commands even wind and sea, and they obey Him?
