tadpoles to frogs...

This past summer miss a and I had 4 tadpoles to look after. She was thrilled to have 4 'extra pets' in the house (mom & dad both have animal allergies, so no cats or dogs for us) & I was pretty excited myself as I never 'raised' a tadpole as a kid. (I asked my husband if he had, he said of course he had, so I must have been deprived in that way. Or maybe it's more because he's one of 3 boys & I'm one of 3 girls.) The tadpoles were so much more...er...'interesting' looking than I thought they would be. But the froglets were so adorable, and the tiny frogs we released back to the pond were cute too. All in all, a fun & successful science experiment.
